Trans*Parency: Revealing the Life of a Trans*Man
While studying at Oakland University, I took a Digital Photojournalism class that concluded with a semester-long project. We weren't given a direct theme, but our work had to be substantial and tell a story. I decided to document my good friend, Kaiden, and show what it's like living as a Trans* man in Michigan. The project was raw, revealing, and worth the time and effort. At the end of the semester, my work was submitted to the 2015 Communications and Journalism Student Showcase Awards at Oakland University. It won first place in the Photojournalism category. The photos in this slideshow are some of my stronger photographs in the series.
